The requirements differ depending on the specific department and course being applied to. For BTech programs such as Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering the requirement is to have cleared 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects with minimum of 60% aggregate marks. The acceptable entrance test includes JEE Main, KCET, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE). For MBA, the eligibility includes a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and the accepted entrance exams are CAT, MAT, Amrita Entrance Test. The basic requirement for admission in MA English, BA Economics, BSc programs is a pass in 12th standard in the relevant group with 50% marks.

Management disciplines require Master’s degree in respective field with minimum 55% marks and National level Entrance Test. B.Com programmes at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Mysore Campus are offered in various departments. The eligibility criteria of the B.Com Computer Applications department calls for passing 10+2 examination in any group with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. The following are also accepted qualifying exams: CBSE, ICSE, state boards, NIOS, and IBDP/IGCSE/IB. The B.Com Finance department does not have any specific pre-requisites in terms of 10+2 board but requires 55% aggregate marks in CBSE, ICSE or state boards. Applicants under the International Baccalaureate program must have a score of 28 points and passed mathematics and English. The B.Com courses offered across the general, computer application, finance, accounting and tourism & travel management stream.
