Andhra University is a university that is situated in Visakhapatnam, which is in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It was founded in the year 1926 and is accredited from the University Grant Commission (UGC). Andhra University is a Grade ‘A+’ accredited university with NAAC and ranked 55 in NIRF ranking for the year 2023. It has a vision of catering for over 10,000 students in undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels in over 300 courses offered in different fields of discipline.
It conducts courses of arts, science, commerce, law, engineering, pharmacy, management and other professional disciplines at the university level. Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant are the large corporates who regularly offer placements to the students of the university. The highest salary package was offered by Microsoft for the batch of 2022 with a package of Rs. 32 lakhs per annum. The average wage deal offered across branches lies in the region of a respectable Rupees six lakh fifty thousand per year.
