Arunodaya University Itanagar is a private university situated in the capital city Arunachal Pradesh by the name of Itanagar. Arunodaya University was established in the year 2014, the University is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and affiliated to the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The university has been accredited by NAC with a Grade A from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Arunodaya University in the ranking position of 101+ according to NIRF Rankings 2023.
Arunodaya University offers programs in multiple streams of study with bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs. For the academic year 2024 academic year, enrolment is now open. The university provides courses like BTech, BCA, BSc, BA, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom and other technical and professional ones. The entrance examination will be conducted in the month of April every year to coincide with the academic year. Each candidate who meets the eligibility criteria can apply before the closing date of 20th March 2023.

Few of the companies who recruit are Wipro, Infosys, HCL, IBM, Capgemini, Cognizant etc who are involved in campus placements. Barring a few departments, more than 85% of the graduating students from the year 2023 have been offered placements with an average wage package of 6 LPA, going up to 10 LPA.

Arunodaya University Itanagar has a functional placement center which helps the students avail placements in several programs. Few of the best known companies that take part in campus recruitment are TCS, wipro, Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Accenture and so on. The maximum package for a B.Tech student during the campus placement in the academic year 2022-23 was 18 LPA for the IT services company. The salary offered to the students vary in between 4-6 LPA, the average being around 5 LPA. The maximum number of students were placed through campus placements in sectors IT, Analytics, Banking & Financial Services etc.
