Assam Don Bosco University is the private university established in Guwahati, Assam, India. ADBU was established in 2008 and recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and gets NAAC accreditation of B++ grade. NIRF rankings 2023 for ADBU has been recently released in which it falls in the 101-150 band in the university category in India. Situated on 276 acres of land, ADBU encompasses state of the-art infrastructure facilities, innovative teaching pedagogy, cutting edge technology equipped class rooms, modernize laboratories and fine amenities for games, music, art, dance, drama and more.
ADBU is a large university which has graduate, postgraduate and PhD programs in a variety of fields of study including engineering, science, business, humanities, social work, art and design, law and many others.
The placement cell of ADBU has always been vibrant with the leading recruiters like Deloitte, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, BYJU’s, TCS, HCL Visit campus for recruitment every year. The placement statistics of the students in 2023 show that approximately 90% of the total students got placed, although there were 216 students placed out of the 240 eligible students for placements, and the highest salary package offered was 32 LPA. The average salary for those passing out was recorded at an all-time high of 7.2 LPA. Assam Don Bosco University Placements 2024
Assam Don Bosco University is very particular about the placements of its students, and there are excellent placements every year. The major companies that approach the university for absorption include Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant offering software engineering and IT services. The maximum pay package was of 32 LPA offered by American Express in the year 2023 where as the average pay package offered was 6.2 LPA. More than 90% of students in campus interviews with all our corporate partners were successfully placed. Major headcount recruitment is done by Information Technology, Analytics, Banking and Financial Services Industries. Students have also been offered by leading firms like Microsoft, Flipkart, and Paytm prior to the campus placement with good pay packages.
