Assam Science and Technology University located in Guwahati caters for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in science, engineering, pharmaceutical sciences and management among other fields. Some of the undergraduate programs provided include BTech in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering among others. The requirements to join Btech programmes are the candidate must have passed class 12th having subjects physics, chemistry, mathematics with minimum 50 % marks.
The university is offering streams in science, Engineering, pharmaceutical sciences and management at under graduate and post graduate levels. Sample courses provided by the college across the streams are BSc Physics, Chemistry and Maths, BPharm, MBA, MCA and others. The admission forms for the 2024 academic session is expected to be out probably around April, 2023. Candidates need to download and complete the application forms and also write relevant aptitude tests like JEE Main, GATE. Selection will be conducted based on ones performance in aptitude tests, group discussions and personal interviews.

Documents Required for Admission in ASTU Guwahati for Different Courses:
1. It is important to assess the admission requirement such as subjects offered in 10+2 and the minimum percentage they expect in the program the student wants to apply for.
2. Complete the application form for online admission that is provided for in the university website which requires some other personal and academic information to be filled before the stipulated date.
3. Upload scanned docs in prescribed format & size like 10+2 Mark sheet, certificates, Photograph.
4. In case the candidate has been shortlisted for a particular program, he/ she has to appear for the university entrance test on the date mentioned against the selected program.
5. Refer to the merit list when released to confirm Selection and follow counseling sessions schedule.
