The Assam University, Diphu campus has different courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels under faculties such as arts, science, commerce and management, computer applications. Some of the favorite courses that students pursue are the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Computer Applications, and Master of Business Administration. The basic requisites for admission in most of the Bachelor degree programs in AUD Diphu campus are one should pass in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks. Courses like BCA entail mathematics as one of the subjects to be passed in class 12. The entrance tests conducted by some schools such as HS and AHSEC are recognized. Some of the major streams of the programmes offered at the Diphu campus include arts, science, commerce, computer applications, and management. Common bachelor course or programs are BA, BSc, BCom, BCA and BBA.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter card, etc., for the purpose of the identification of the applicant as well as to crosscheck his age.
2. A pass certificate of 10 standard from any recognized educational board to give proof of the completion of 10th standard.
3. A certificate awarded by a school or education board for passing the 12th standard or the final certificate of 12th standard mark sheet.
4. With reference to the relevant education board last attended by the applicant a migration certificate must be attached.
5. Caste certificate for those students who have taken admission in the college under the quota system.
6. Position proof for the candidates who wants to take admission in economical weaker section quota.
7. Relevant certificates if seeking admission against sports quota or for persons with disabilities/physically challenged candidates.
1. The student should look at the requirements of admission to the course he/she wants to pursue and the age, academic qualifications, and entrance tests required by the university.
2. Applicants those who have to apply through online or offline must do it before the last date of advertisement by submitting necessary documents.
3. Sit for the concerned entrance exam if any or direct admission can be taken based on the merit.
4. Wait for the result of the entrance exam or the merit list that is published and attend the counseling session.
5. Fees and documents must be submitted for the confirmation of the admission after the allotment is allowed in counseling.
6. Take an admission number and collect Identity Card to conclude the admission procedure. The students should report to the college of their respective post on the scheduled date.
1. Check eligibility - A Master degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with not less than 50 % marks.
2. More information regarding the application submission procedure can be had from the above said notification and the candidates can either apply online or offline before the last date for the submission of the application form. Pay fee.
3. Sit for any available examination that is used by the university to select students if there is any. Check result.
4. Take an appointment for a counselling session if allowed. Choose the stream in which you want to specialize and the college you wish to join.
5. The final steps involve presenting relevant documents and making necessary payments as a way of completing admission processes.
6. Accept admission offer and register for the course. This means that the candidate is supposed to attend orientation and start attending classes.
1. Eligibility – Applicant must hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
2. Application for admission - May be obtainable online or by visiting the university during the early part of the year, particularly March- April.
3. Sit for entrance exam – Usually the exams are conducted in June-July. Assesses the ability of the student and his knowledge of the subject matter.
4. If qualify – summoned candidates for interview to determine their interests and to consider the proposed plan.
5. If selected - Verify the admission documents and then pay the admission fee.
6. Become registered - All the essential registration processes must be accomplished, and Ph.D program should commence in accordance with plans.
7. Begin researching - Work under the supervision, submit the interim reports and finish off the thesis in the duration of the project.
