The Awadhesh Pratap Singh University Rewa offers various courses in different disciplines of arts, science, commerce, law, education, and management streams at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The eligibility requirements differ with the departments – for the BA, BSc and BCom courses, it is mandatory for students to pass Class 12 in their respective subjects with not less than 50% of the total marks. Even the results from board examinations like the HSC, CBSE or any other state level board is acceptable. For BTech, the qualifying examination is class 12 and the candidate is required to have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, with minimum 60% in PCM.
The university is in the educational field for a long time and provides various programs which includes BA, BSc, BCom, BTech, BCA, BBA, MSc, MCom, MA, MBA, LLB, BEd, MCA, MTech, PhD in faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Education, Engineering & Technology, and Management. The admission process with respect to registration, application form submission, preparation of merit lists, counseling sessions and final selection. The University which started its journey in 1975 has more than 50 departments and is having a large campus area of 550 acres located in Rewa city of Madhya Pradesh.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Original and photocopy of identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter card or driving license etc., for the purpose of identification of the candidate.
2. High school mark sheet and a pass certificate for 10th standard for supporting their high school qualifications.
3. Mark sheet of the 12th standard and pass certificate for the recognized 12th standard and its qualifications.
4. Transfer certificates from the last attended school or college by the student/ Migration certificate by the candidate.
5. The caste certificate for those candidates who want to avail the benefits of the reserved category such as SC, ST, or OBC.
6. Affidavit of income for those students who want to get admission through certain categories.

2. Choose a course of your interest or the UG/PG program you would like to apply for and make sure you fulfill the requirements of the University in terms of the educational qualification and marks.
3. Applicants are required to complete the online application before the due date and attach or upload scanned copies of important documents. Make the application fees through online.
4. Once you are shortlisted, you will sit for counseling sessions where you will be required to present your documents physically.
5. Depending on the merit, availability of seats and other conditions like reservation policy, provisional admission will be given.
6. A payment of the admission/semester fee will confirm the admission. Clear all the documents required for admission and obtain your admission receipt.

1. Eligibility – Applicants should be having a bachelor’s degree from any University in India recognized by UGC with minimum 50% marks for General candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
2. Obtain Prospectus – This is available in the university office for sale where application forms and admission prospectus are sold at a cost.
3. Complete Application Form – Complete the MA admission application form in the right manner with all the information that is required to be entered in the format provided.
4. Finally, return the original application form with all the photocopies of the documents and the admission fee before the stated time.
5. University entrance exam – If any, should sit for the university’s Master’s entrance examination on the scheduled examination day.
6. Admission Confirmation –- It is recommended to check the merit list that is released by the concerned university to find out the status of admission. If selected, then fully admit by fulfilling all procedures.

2. Visit the online application link given below and then create your very own account by entering your details and a password.
3. Enter the user ID and password to log in and then complete the MA application form with personal, contact, academic information as per the particulars mentioned earlier.
4. Scanned photograph, signature and documents such as certificates, marksheets etc. which are to be uploaded as per the requirements stated in the guidelines.
5. Make the online application fee payment by using the credit/debit card, net banking, options provided.
6. Complete all the required fields in the MA application form, save it, log in again, and then preview and submit it. Make sure that you retain the printout of the final submission confirmation.
7. In case the applicant is short listed, he/she must appear for entrance exam/interview as applicable on the dates mentioned along with the print of the admit card.

5. Results- entrance examination results are also displayed online. Candidates who are selected are called for counseling and document verification, and from this list, the final list of candidates is made.
6. Full admission – while undergoing counseling, the candidate must pay for admission and secure a seat. All documents and provisional allotment letter should be submitted and admission formalities be completed.

5. Written examination – This tests candidates’ written skills in a test set by the University that only the short listed candidates sit in. It assesses research capability, topic competence and critical thinking skills.
6. Interview - After the completion of the written test, those candidates who perform well in the test are called for an interview with experts to determine their research aptitude.
7. Admission and enrollment – After final selection, candidates have to meet other requirements like fee structure, within the given time frame to secure a Ph.D. seat and enrollments.
