Bankura University is one of the state universities which is affiliated to the state of West Bengal and situated in Bankura. It was started in 2013 and it is know have affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC). In particular, NAAC accredited the Bankura University with grade ‘B’ in the year of 2016 only. As per the NIRF rankings of the year 2023, the Bankura University was at the ranking of 151 in the list of Universities in India.
It is accredited to offer various levels of studies including undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies in humanities, sciences, Commerce, Education and Engineering & Technology faculties.
