St. Xavier’s College is a private college in India that is situated in Kolkata, West Bengal, and has its link affiliation with the University of Calcutta as an autonomous college. Established in the year 1860, it is one of the oldest college and is situated in the southern part of India. St. Xavier’s stands as one of the academically sorted institutions in India with a NAAC grade of A+. According to the NIRF Rankings of 2023, St. Xavier’s College Kolkata stands at the 9th position among the Best Colleges in India. 

The college is affiliated to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, and provides education in sciences, commerce and humanities streams at undergraduate and post graduate level. These include the following key undergraduate courses namely B.Sc. In various sciences fields, B.Com., BA in Economics, English, Sociology etc., The admissions are on the merit of the Class 12th board examination. An academic year normally starts in May each year and the admission procedure involves completing the admission form, writing an entrance examination if the course requires it and other forms of screening. Records on the specific examinations to be written for 2024 admission are still to be released by the college.

In the placement session of 2022, the highest salary package provided was Rs. 32 Lakhs per annum, and the average salary package was Rs. 7.2 Lakhs per annum The percentage of students placed through campus placement was more than 83%. Some of the recruiters in Xavier School of Management are Deloitte, PwC, Tata Steel, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Infosys and other over 250 companies that are associated with the college for providing employment opportunities to the talented Xavierites every year.
