The university in Srinagar are the Central University of Kashmir that provides multiple postgraduate, undergraduate, and doctoral programs in multiple fields. For the Master of Arts degree there are the departments in classical languages, education, English, mass communication and Journalism, history and Sociology. Eligibility for these programs specifies that the candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with not less than 55% combined percentage. CUCET and TISSNET are some of the entrance exams almost every university accepts for students admission. The under graduate programs includes B.Tech in mechanical engineering, computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, while the non technical programs include B.A and B. Sc programs in economy, hospitality and tourism and applied mathematics. The prerequisites for these programs include passing Intermediate or class 12 in the respective subject stream with 60% marks. CUCET also provides the facilities for admission in the undergraduate level which is annually conducted by the university.
The university provides the academic courses and programs in association with the arts, science, engineering, education, business, tourism & hospitality, classical languages, etc. The expected dates for the CUCET entrance test have not been released for the upcoming 2024 academic session while the admission process will involve registration, application, entrance test, result and counseling. The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) is situated at Srinagar, and the university has opened different courses for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate in various fields such as arts, social sciences, sciences, law, education, etc. Admission application can be done both online and offline.
For the online admission process, one must necessarily approach the official website of the University which is www.cukashmir.ac.in. 1. The admission is done through central universities common entrance test also known as CUCET. Those who have to take the CUCET examination and get good marks are eligible to join the organization.

2. Sign up on the university admissions portal to gain access to the platform and be issued with a login name and password.
3. On the website of the university or school offering MBA program, locate the application form and fill it to the best of your ability, entering all your personal information, academic backgrounds, contact information and others.
4. Candidates can upload scanned copies of necessary documents such as photographs, signature, educational certificates and caste certificate as applicable in the specified format.
5. Pay the application fee either through online net banking/debit card/credit card or as mentioned in the notificaiton.
6. On completion of the form, the individual is supposed to download and print the form together with the fee payment receipt.
7. After completing the application form in print, attach the copies of the academic certificates and other supporting documents where necessary as per the address of the university within the stated time.
8. Many institutions have an admission portal where students are informed about selection process and therefore students should check admission portal frequently for updates. In turn, the candidates that would be selected to the final list would have to undergo the group discussion/personal interview session.
9. Finally, students have to submit necessary documents and the fees before the last date in order to confirm the admission after they have been selected.
