Charutar Vidya Mandal University (CVMU) is a Private University in the state of Gujarat, situated in Anand. CVMU was set up in the year 2020 and it is categorized under the UGC and also it is affiliated to AICTE. The accreditation of the NAAC is A+ indicating that CVMU is committed to offering quality higher education to learners. The NIRF ranking system in the year 2023 placed CVMU at 101 among universities in India.  

CVMU has designed numerous courses across disciplines in the faculties of Engineering & Technology, Computer Applications Management, Commerce, Field of Science, Education, Pharmacy and more. Some of the recognized programs are as follows: - B.Tech., M.Tech., B.B.A., M.B.A., B.Com., M.Com., B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm. For admission in the academic year of 2024-25, the CVMU entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted in May, 2023. For instance, the application process commences in March in every year. In addition to merit system, student intake takes place based on other entrance tests such as JEE Mains, GATE, CAT etc.

CVMU has a pretty good placement record with many big name companies like Bosch, Colgate Palmolive, Flipkart, HDFC Bank etc making their offers. The highest CTC made by the college was Rs 18.5 LPA in the year 2021-22, and the average of those placed was Rs 6.2 LPA. With regards to placement statistics around 600 student got placed with over 80% placement record for the batch of 2021-22. The main sectors with many hiring companies include the IT/Software, Banking & Finance, Consumer Goods &/Retail etc. CVMU’s commitment is seen in its 90-acre technologically advanced campus and sophisticated structures for producing talent that will fit the current market.

Charutar Vidya Mandal University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. For Bachelors programs such as BA, BSC, BCOM the candidate must have passed 10+2 level examination in the relevant stream from a recognized board with not less than 50% marks. 

2. For BBA – minimum 50% passin 10+2 from recognized board of education in any stream.

3. For BCA – the candidate should have passed 10+2 exam with mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognized board with minimum 50 % marks. 

4. For Masters programs such as MA, MSc, MCom - Bachelor’s degree of any genuine university with minimum 50% marks.

5. For MBA – Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from University recognized by the University Grants Commission /Any other recognized University with minimum 50% marks 

6. For MCA- Bachelor’s degree in any stream having passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level OR Graduation level with minimum 50% marks from recognized University.
