Charutar Vidya Mandal University (CVMU) is situated in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat which offers many departments in science, commerce, arts, engineering, pharmacy, management, computer application rural studies, education, law, physical education, design, etc. The admission procedure also differs for every department like B.Sc. In Pure/Applied sciences one needs to pass 12th in science stream with minimum 50% marks in PCM/PCB/PCMB as stated by the IIT. In the same manner, for B.Com pass in 12th standard with any stream and minimum 50% marks in the aggregate is qualifying. Most postgraduate courses regardless of the field of study need the person to hold a bachelor’s degree. The following national level entrance examinations are considered for admissions in CVM University along with class 12th scores: JEE Mains, GPAT, CAT, MAT, GUJCET etc.
University conduces various under graduate, post graduate, diploma and research programs under faculty of Science, Commerce, Engineering & Technology, Computer Science, Management, Rural Studies, Education, Physical Education, Library Science etc. As for the entrance test dates for various courses for 2024 admissions are yet to be declared, they can be checked at the university’s official website. Most often the application process is launched in May of the given year. Recruitment is done by their past academics, scores obtained in the entrance test, personal interview etc The admission procedures are online registration & application, document verification, payment of fee, seat allotment according to merit etc The result is declared in July-August and the selected candidates can fill in their particulars for the admission procedure and join their respective course as per the schedule announced.
- This test is called the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and the admission is given based on their scores obtained from this exam only.
- The other category is where candidates seek admission through marks and ranking in JEE Paper 2.
- The B.Arch programme in CVM University does not require a separate entrance exam, but admission is open to candidates who have passed the entrance exam of any recognised university. The admission process is solely on the basis of the NATA scores for those students who had appeared for it or the rank secured in JEE Paper 2 for those who had appeared for it.
- As an added requirement, candidates have to pass the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and should have obtained not less than 50% aggregate marks in the entrance test of NATA/JEE.
- The government of India has given some norms for the SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidate, so there may be some reservation.
- The admitted candidates will be required to clear document verification process before the completion of admission process.

2. Make sure to complete the application form accurately and fully - this means providing details about yourself, your academic background, your contacts, etc.
3. Ensure you fulfill the admission requirements for B.Arch program to enhance your chances of being admitted. This often includes having completed 12th grade and with physics, chemistry and mathematics as taught subjects together with a minimum aggregate percentage.
4. The following documents shall be attached to the application form that is used in the process of applying for the job: This comprises 10th and 12th mark sheets, school leaving certificate, passport sizes etc as specified in the form.
5. The completely filled application form is to be attached with the program fee (if required) before the admission date at the university admin office or online.
6. Sit for university entrance test if any. Some schools set their own exam for students who want to enter their university.
7. If, the candidate has been selected then he/she has to accept the offer by paying the admission/course fees as prescribed by the university and based on the fee structure and timeline. Any other necessary documents should be submitted to the university.
8. You can join the program by submitting paperwork at the beginning of the academic year as per the norms set by the university.
