Chaudhary Devi Lal University Haryana (CDLU) is a public university in the city of Sirsa. CDLU was established in the year 2003 by an Act of State Legislature of Haryana and now one of the fastest growing universities in the state of Haryana. The University is accredited by the University Grant Commission and has recently earned B+ grade in NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). In the recently released NIRF Rankings 2023, CDLU secured its place among the top 200 Universities in India.
The University creates a vast educational network with its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs to provide arts, science, education, law, management, engineering, technology, pharmacy, physiotherapy. Chaudhary Devi Lal University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Aspiring students need to complete their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with not less than 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST) for admission to under graduate Programs.
2. For postgraduate programs, the basic eligibility requirement is a relevant bachelor’s degree with passing marks minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST).
3. For MPhil and PhD admissions, the candidate must have a PG degree in the respective discipline with minimum 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST).
4. The candidates who are awaiting the result of the final year undergraduate examination can also apply in a provisional basis if they fulfill the eligibility criteria for passing the qualifying examination.
5. For this, there is a relaxation of 5% in the eligibility for candidates having a minimum of 3 years of working experience in government organization.
6. This policy is implemented in compliance with government rules on reservation and sandy reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates available in various courses.

Placement cell of the Chaudhary Devi Lal University helps students to get recruitment from various companies directly at the campus. Prominent companies that recruit students from CDLU for placements include, the Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, and IBM to mention but a few. The maximum salary that was presented by the companies of CDLU goes up to Rs 10 lakh per annum. The Salary package that is offered to the average student in college is between 3.5 lakhs to 4 lakhs per annum.
