Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Sonepat provide many under graduate and post graduate courses in different fields of study such as, engineering, management, law, pharmacy etc The admission requirement differs from one stream to another. For candidates seeking admission to B.Tech programs such as Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc. candidates must have passed class XII in the respective discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks and must have appeared for JEE Main examination. For admission to BBA and MBA programs in Institute of Management Studies valid CAT/MAT score and passing 50% marks in 12th and graduation are required. Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programs like BA LLB and BBA LLB admit students who have passed their 12th standard in any field with a minimum of 50% for CLAT. Likewise, to be eligible for B.Pharm program, candidates are required to have pass in 12th science with 50 percent marks and GPAT validity.
The university has a diverse course that is available in various faculties include Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Business Management, Law, Basic Sciences, Languages and many more with programs that include Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Diploma. The exams accepted in this university are JEE Main, GATE, NET, CLAT, CAT, MAT, GPAT etc., but the admission time table and exams of this year 2024 have not been announced yet by this university. Usually the application are invited in April and examination are taken from last of the May. The selection is through entrance examinations in combination with a counselling process. For Under Graduate Programs the admission criteria are class 12th marks / percentile and national and state level entrance examinations. Applicants seeking PG admissions are evaluated based on graduation marks and entrance tests, and personal interview rounds. Further, the admission notification at the university level for the year 2024 will be uploaded on the university website in March/April, 2023. Dean of Admission, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Sonepat reveals that the admission to this university can be both online and offline for several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered in the current academic year.
For online application, candidates are required to log on to http://www.dcrustm.ac.in for further necessary procedures. Finally, navigate to the homepage and go to the ‘Admissions’ tab before choosing the desired program. They also state how and where to get the application form, as well as give a detailed guide on how to fill it. It is an online process where candidates have to register themselves, and enter the required details, attach the necessary documents, and also submit application fees.
The other procedural method of applying involves physically purchasing the application form through paying fees at approved branches of the banks. All the documents required along with the photocopy of the application form and the documents showing the qualifying examination and other testimonial needs to be submitted to the Registrar of the University before the last date proposed for submission of the application form. University also provides opportunities for campus tour for submitted of application form physically to the admission office. It can be noted that admission in these courses is given on the merit in the qualifying examination and/or entrance tests. Selection lists are announced on the official website of the examination.

- An MBA admission is done through the Haryana Common Entrance Test (Haryana CET) which is organized by the Haryana State Counselling Board. The Haryana CET score can be used to seek admission to MBA programmes at DCRUST.
- The notification and the application process of MBA 2024 Haryana CET are generally in April-May. There is one examination, which is held in June, and the students are expected to complete it.
- Eligibility criteria: Graduation degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) is mandatory but two years experience of teaching in a professional college is preferable. Even those candidates who have scored valid in exams like CAT /MAT they can apply.
