The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Shoolini University Solan comprises several departments offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different pharmaceutical concentrations. The BPharm course is open to those who have completed their 10+2 in science with at least 50% marks from a recognized University. Applicants who have passed their relevant exams such as NEET and SRUEE are allowed to apply. The MPharm departments like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Phytopharma admit students from BPharm, Btech Biotech, BSc with minimum 55% aggregate. The tests that are conducted for eligibility are GPAT and Shoolini University entrance exam. The PhD programs across departments admit candidates having passed MPharm, MS Pharm, MTech Biotech with minimum 55% marks and having qualified GPAT or NET.
Admissions are now open at Shoolini University for the various undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the session 2024-25 in the faculties of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, Forestry, Horticulture, Maths, Environmental Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and many more. Some of the prime entrance tests are NEET UG for BPharm, GPAT for MPharm, SU entrance test for both BSc/MSc, JEE Main for the BTech programmes. SU test dates are first week of June 2024. NTA will be releasing NEET UG and JEE Main 2024 exam dates shortly. Application forms can be downloaded from the university website or collected from the university office. Some of the programs may require the candidate to qualify the related entrance examination, have a satisfactory academic background and pass through an interview. School sessions are expected to commence in the fist week of August 2024.
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Shoolini University Solan provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. As for the application process, students may apply either online or they can get an application form and apply manually.
For online application, you should visit the university official website via https://www.shooliniuniversity.com/ and navigate through the ‘Admissions’ tab. Choose the course of your choice under the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and complete the online application form accordingly. Scan certain documents, which are needed for registration, pay the application fee, and fill out the form.
For offline admission, one should get the application form and prospectus from the university admission office on the payment of the prescribed fee. Complete the form and other documents to be attached to the application form and pay the application and processing fees and submit it to the office on or before the stipulated date. It has a policy on admission where it admits students based on merit with a consideration of the performance in the qualifying examination and if there is any entrance test then the result will also be considered. Selection is done through counseling sessions.. Pay the required academic fees in order to confirm the admission.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
- Shoolini University is a private university situated in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It has a Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences which offers a four year B.Pharma degree program.
- B.Pharma admission is generally offered by the scores in the national/state level entrance examination such as JEE Main, NEET, University entrance test of Shoolini University etc. It might also be that some seats are reserved on the basis of 12th board percentage.
- The admission notification and process is generally commenced by the university in May-June for the session starting in July/August of the same year.
- Some of the typical eligibility criteria include: Completed 12th standard in science group with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics and obtained at least 50% marks (45% SC/ST/OBC) in the above mentioned subjects.
- It conducts its own entrance examination commonly known as SHUEET: Shoolini University Entrance Examination Test for admission.
- The exam is in physics, chemistry and biology and mathematics subjects up to the level of twelfth grade.
- Apart from SHUEET scores, candidates are also judged on their 12th standard marks (minimum of 50% in PCB/PCM is mandatory).
- As for the reserved category students (SC/ST/OBC), 5% marks relaxation is provided in the minimum marks scored in 12th standard.
- Therefore, merely passing the SHUEET written test and satisfying the passing score on the 12th standard exam is not a passkey to admission. Percentage of written test and qualifying exam and ranking are calculated and the final list is prepared.
- It means that all the seats are being offered based on merit; there are no management or institution-selected students allowed in the program.
- In case of equal scores, the 12th standard marks of the candidate are considered for breaking the tie.

2. Find the navigation titled admissions for the B.Pharma program and click on it. This will open the admission/application form.
3. It is crucial to go through all the information regarding the requirements for admission, the application process and the key dates mentioned on the admission page.
4. Generally, you will see a button that says ‘Apply Online’ or ‘Apply Now’ – click on that button to begin the application.
5. New users need to register which involves using a valid e-mail address and a password of the user’s choice. Verify the email ID.
6. Go to this account and ensure that all the appropriate data is entered in the application form.
7. Original documents need to be uploaded as per the required formats. This may include photographs, signatures, age proof, mark sheets/certificates of qualifying examinations etc.
8. Pay the application fee online through net banking/ credit card/ debit card etc.
9. Before signing a completed application form, read it through and then sign it. Record the application number so that it can be referred to in future.
10. Sometimes, you might be asked to submit the application form and documents in hard copy to the university through mail or physically. Check for these requirements.
11. If so, you will receive information about the counselling and the subsequent admission process through an email or the admission portal. Comply with the directions given in the instructions and report as required.
