Ganpat University is an independent university situated at Mehsana of Gujarat state of India. It was set up in year 2005 and it has been approved under section 2(f) and 12(B) by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India and has been accredited with B++ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). According to the NIRF university rankings of the year 2023, GTU is between 151-200.
Today, the university encompasses more than a hundred programs in faculties of Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, Management and Computer Applications, Science, Humanities and social Science, Education, Architecture and planning and Law. Among the well-known programs are Btech Mtech BBA MBA Bpharm Mpharm BA MA BEd and LLB and many others. The semester examinations are administered in October–November and March–April each academic year. Most of the programs require students to write national or state level entrance examinations including: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET), among others, before being admitted through an intensive counseling process. There are also special entries in particular programs or courses of study.

1. The candidates must have completed 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board and must obtain minimum percentage of marks which differs from one program to another. BTech pass marks are 45% and for MBA, the pass marks are 50% In the case of BTech, 50 marks out of 100 are needed while for MBA 50 out of 100 are necessary.
2. The BTech program requires the candidates to have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their 10+2 levels. For BBA, and MBA, there is no restriction in the stream which is passed in 10+2.
3. Candidates who appeared final year/semester of the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply, though, they will be admitted provisionally until they provide marks sheets.
4. For MTech and PhD, one should have Btech/BE or Master’s degree in the relevant specialization from any recognized university with the percentage marks as prescribed for the course.
5. The government guidelines regarding the reservations and relaxations provided to the candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories will be followed.
6. The information concerning the candidate’s eligibility will have to be rechecked and confirmed at the time of the admission confirmation based on the documents provided. Admissions can be cancelled based on preestablished criteria in case of falsifications or non-eligibility.
