Gour Banga University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Undergraduate programs have to have passed 10 + 2 examination in respective stream from any recognized board of education.
2. For postgraduate programs, minimum passing grades in the bachelor degree in the relevant subject as per the program are as follows.
3. For research programs like Ph.D, a postgraduate degree is mandatory and pass in the entrance examination and Interview.
4. We do not exclude any age restriction when taking admissions across the programs.
5. As per West Bengal state, the Reservation policy will be applicable for the reserved category as per norms.
6. Criteria of including marks obtained in higher secondary and graduation examination while preparing merit list for admission.

One of the notable features of GB, University is that the placement cell of the University remains quite busy in arranging campus recruitment for its students.
