Govind Guru Tribal University one of the famous universities located in Banswara, Rajasthan offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of arts, science, commerce, education, law and many more. The qualification requirements may also differ depending on the department and courses offered. The minimum criteria to apply for BA is 12th standard pass from any recognized board and the subjects should include English. Admission to BSc course shall be based on the applicants’ 12th Science with subjects such as Maths/Biology/Physics/Chemistry as per the specialization chosen with minimum aggregate marks. The minimum educational qualification for BCom is passing 12th standard from any stream with Maths/Accountancy as a subject. Bed program foresees a graduation in the related field. For LLB, the candidate does not require any specific stream for graduation, but they need minimum percentage for the bachelor’s degree. Along with the qualifying examination scores the university accepts scorecards of national level entrance exams such as JEE Main, LSAT, B.Ed entrance and more; additionally qualifying examination cut-off and eligibility norms prescribed by respective department are also mandatory. 

The university provides course in arts and social sciences, sciences, education, commerce, law, etc. Some of the common programs offered include the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Planning.Ed, MP.Ed, MSc, MCA, MCom. According to the current pending update, the application process for the 2024 admission session will be done in May, 2023. The entrance exams would be conducted as per the mentioned timetable between June to August 2023. For majority of the UG & PG, admission will be based on the qualifications of the examination that the candidate has appeared or the entrance test score. The application for admission to the different programmes offered in the Govind Guru Tribal University Banswara for the undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses can be submitted both online as well as offline.

1. The candidates need to have a Master’s degree in the subject concerned and need to have a minimum of 55% marks.

2. Candidates who wish to undertake research must pass the university’s Entrance Test with a minimum pass mark of 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

3. Those selected for further consideration sit for an interview and present their proposed research to a Selection Committee. During the interview, the candidate is tested according to the following criteria: knowledge in the subject area, research skills, communication skills, etc.

GGTU Banswara MBA Selection Criteria

- It strictly follows a merit system with regard to results of the qualifying examination. As per the eligibility criteria mentioned, the candidates must have attained a bachelor’s degree from any university with the requisite percentage of marks.

- For the general category candidates, the candidates must have an average of 50 percent in their graduation. As for the SC/ST category, one needs to have 45% aggregate marks all together.
