Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences (GUTS) in Ahmedabad proffers numerous medical courses across the streams of medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, hospital administration and etc. The requirement measure differs according to the course and to get admission in MBBS, the contender must have passed 12th with 50% score in the PCB & English subjects. The accepted qualifying exams are NEET, GUJCET, and there is the same eligibility criteria for the BDS programme along with the NEET score. B.Sc. B. Nursing program needs 12th standard pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the subjects. MPT and BOT programs must have a related bachelor’s degree such as BPT and B.Sc. respectively.
The university provides courses in medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, and hospital management education. The dates for examinations for admissions in the university for the academic year 2024 are also not provided. All programs involve having passed qualifying examinations such as NEET/GUJCET among other requirements that include fulfilling the 12th/graduation standard as per the program offered. Candidates aspiring to get admission in the various courses of undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences (GUTS), Ahmedabad can avail the admission form both in online and offline form.
To apply the candidates have to go through the official website which is www.guts.education. In the Admissions tab, candidates can read about the admission process and fill in the online application. Students are required to get registered on the portal and submit the application by entering all the necessary information and attaching scanned copies of documents and certificates. The application fee can be remitted online through credit/debit cards or through net banking.
For off-line admission, one has to get the application form from the university either by post or personally. At this stage, the duly filled a application form with photocopies of the documents and the application fee in the form of a demand draft have to be sent or submitted to the university registrar. Upon submission, the application is forwarded to the admission department and the merit list is compiled depending on the qualifications. - Prospective candidates for the M.Sc programmes should possess their B.Sc qualification in relevant courses such us Medical Laboratory Sciences, Life sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology etc from any recognized university.
- The admission is merit based depending on performance in the qualifying B.Sc examination for the candidate. GUTS takes into account the mark obtained in the B.Sc program as a percentage.
- However, this is not the end of it because candidates also sit for an entrance test conducted by GUTS. The entrance test mainly includes multiple choice questions to assess the candidate’s ability, logical thinking, and competence in the chosen subject of specialization.
- Finally, a merit list is prepared on the basis of a candidate’s academic achievement in the B.Sc degree and the entrance test percentage. As stated above the candidates are offered admission to the M.Sc programs depending on the rank obtained in this merit list and the number of vacancies available.
- GUTS also carries out one on one interviews in some instances before enrolling the students to determine other factors.
- There are also few management quota where any student with lower merit can be admitted on paying comparatively higher fees.

2. Select the M.Sc. program that you wish to pursue (for example M.Sc. in Transplantation Science & Technology). Ensure that you qualify to apply for the grant.
3. After the applications are opened, one can access it through the website and download the application form. Read all instructions carefully.
4. Complete the application form accurately and submit all necessary documents. This includes 10th & 12th mark-sheet photocopies; graduate degree certificates; if applicable, caste certificate and more.
5. To complete the process, pay the application fees if any either online or through a demand draft. Enclose the payment proof with the application.
6. Completed application form and other documents should be forwarded before the deadline either through online or by posting to the mentioned University address.
7. As much as possible, retain photocopies of the filled form, payment receipt, and any other accompanying documents for future use.
8. Visit the university’s website now and then to check the status of your application, admit card download portal, and interview dates if any. Comply with any additional admission process rules as may be provided.
