Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University commonly known as GGSIPU is one of the prestigious state universities in Delhi, India. Set up in 1998, it has been listed in the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been accredited ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC). In the NIRF ranking system in 2023, GGSIPU was ranked 36th in the list of universities for higher learning in India. The university presents a vast number of Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate programs in numerous faculties such as Engineering & Technology, Management & Law, Education, Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy and others.

Admission to various programmes in the university is offered based on entrance tests which are held in May. Bachelor's programs: It must be a 10+2 pass and the candidate should have scored anywhere between 50-60 percent; however there are some programs that have extra requirements to be met like the BTech where the candidate has to have passed Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Master's programs: Candidates should be a graduate from a recognized University in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks. MBA/PGDM: A candidate should have passed bachelors degree with not less than 50% marks in total and the candidate must clear the entrance test. MTech: A candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree Engineering/Technology with minimum 50-60% aggregate marks. MPhil/PhD: A Master’s degree in the related field and minimum 55% marks are mandatory along with the entrance test.
