Guru Ravidas Ayurved University is one of the premier university offering education in Ayurveda and medical sciences in Punjab, India specifically located at Hoshiarpur. It was started in the year 2010 and it has NAAC A Grade accreditation and also UGC recognised institution. In NIRF ranking of 2023 it has achieved the position of 36 out of medical colleges. These include graduate, post graduate, diploma, Ph.D. and certificate programs in five faculties of the university namely faculties of Ayurved, Homoeopathy, Nursing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy & Paramedical Sciences.

1. To get admission in BAMS, a candidate should have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, biology with minimum 50% marks for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates and maximum age of 17 years to 25 years.
2. For MD/MS Ayurveda one requires BAMS degree with minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC) and should be registered with State Ayurvedic Council.
3. For M.Sc programs, candidates should possess bachelor’s degree in respective subject with minimum 50% marks for open category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC in the relevant field from any university.
4. Ph.D candidate one should have pass in post graduate degree in Ayurveda with at least 55% marks and should have experience of two years in teaching / clinical / research experience.
5. To enrol in diploma courses, candidates require 10+2 qualification, in any stream, completed from a recognised board. Hence, the minimum age requirement to register on this platform is 17 years.
6. For PG Diploma, candidates should have bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda/Allopathy/Homoeopathy/Unani for the concerned subject in which they want to take admission with minimum 50% marks.
