Himgiri Zee University (HZU), is a private university was established in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. HZU was setup in the year 2003 under the Uttarakhand State Legislature Act, and the college is recognized by the University Grants Commission and accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education. The university has obtained NAAC Grade ‘A’ this proves the quality education provided in the University. In the recently released NIRF Ranking 2023, Guru Gobind Singh Subharti University is ranked under top 150 among the private universities in the country.

Himgiri Zee University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For undergraduate programs the admission requires 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized boards with a minimum of 50% marks. As with most programs, there may also be extra prerequisites.
2. For postgraduate programs, students are generally expected to have a bachelor’s degree with pass in the relevant field from an accredited institution, with the students having 50% tally marks as minimum requirement. There may be programs that require entrance test scores, for instance, MBA.
3. For diploma and certification programs, one must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination for getting the admission in particular course. In some cases, the relevant work experience could also be taken as a valid basic qualification for the job.
4. For admission to Ph.D. programs, one has to possess a master’s degree in the concerned specialization with at least 55% aggregate marks and pass the university entrance test for admission to doctoral programs.
5. International students must complete the course as Indian counterparts with equivalent academic standards. There are also cases when students have to provide scores that they received on an English language test.
6. As per government norms the eligibility marks are reduced in each examination for reserved category students. There is also additional scholarships offered.
