Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) releases online application form for taking admissions in various under graduate and post graduate courses like B.Tech., M.Tech., MBA, MCA etc. every session. The application process can be done both online as well as the offline mode of the application is also available.
For online application, the candidate has to navigate to the official website of PTU at www.ptu.ac.in and then click on ‘Admission’ to apply online and complete the application form by entering the required personal details and documents. The application fee has to be made online through credit/debit card, net banking etc.

The I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) in Mohali has PhD programs in all the branches of engineering and technology. Major departments of IKGPTU offering PhD are Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology Departments etc. Admission requirements vary from one department to another but the general entry requirements for the PhD programs include; Candidates should have completed their relevant Master’s degree with at least an average of 55% marks. For PhD admissions, the entrance tests accepted are GATE, NET, INSPIRE or other tests of equivalent standards.
