The Indian Institute of India Institute IT Information Technology Surat (IIIT Surat) is one of those Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) set up by Ministry of Education, Government of India so as to enhance the education and research in the field of Information Technology. Established in 2017, IIIT Surat serves as a reputable 4-year Btech program in information technology related disciplines such as Computer Science and Information Technology, Data Science, and Information Technology The institute offers a balanced curriculum where theory and practice are equally weighted. Alongside courses that include Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Database Systems the institute also encourages students to fully grasp practical aspects in the industry by other courses. In general, there are two round of exams for every academic year carried out during the period from November to December and from April to May. Only the score of the 2024 JEE Main on the part of IIIT Surat is honored for acceptance. The counseling will most likely be starting in June 2024.

1. The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with a minimum of seventy-five percent which is sixty-five percent for SC/ST with at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST students) in aggregate in the subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
2. The applicant is expected to have obtained a valid JEE Main score or other state or national level entrance exam which is acceptable to the university. We select applicants depending on their entrance exam score and +2 passed score.
3. Candidates who have successfully completed the entrance test that were held during current year or those conducted a year previously can apply
4. For the reason that the candidate who wants to be admitted via DASA should be a foreigner has finished 12 years of schooling with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and got at least 60% average score.
5. The candidate children might descendant of Indian workers in the Gulf, Asian countries, and South-East Asian countries. Such children are applicable for admissions through the DASA scheme.
6. NRI/PIO candidate or children of NRI In this category, candidates who have studied abroad can apply their SAT Subject Test score and are allocated these reserved seats.

1. On the platform application online, which is found on the official website, download the form, and attach the required documents. The form is available from January-February, but admission under BTech course is closed.
2. People who qualify based on the requirements are invited to sit for the written examination that takes place around May. The test is made up of 3 sections: quantitative reasoning, logical reasoning, and prevalent programming basic concepts.
3. Only those candidates who pass through the written test cutoff will be given opportunity for face-to-face personal interview with a panel comprising of members who are evaluating the candidates on basis of their aptitude, interests and clarity of thought.
4. The initial provisional merit list is announced in June and each and every candidate is shortlisted based on their marks procured from the written test and subsequent interview performance which is also given equal importance.
5. The final rank list and the first admission list are thereafter published after resolving the objections raised. The offer letter of acceptance which is issued to the chosen trainees is paid for.
6. Additional admission lists are also announced for those candidates who had been selected initially and whose details will be updated if the seats are still vacant.
