IIM Amritsar is a public business school and was established in 2015 as the 15th Indian Institute of Management. IIM Amritsar is providing Post Graduate Diploma courses in various fields of management such as Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Marketing Management, Finance Management, Information Technology and Business Analytics, and General Management. The admission criteria is slightly different for different course but the basic requirement is that the applicant must be graduate with minimum 50 % marks equivalent CGPA and must have a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE scores. Some of the major courses that are offered are post graduate programme in management, post graduate programme for executives, fellow programme in management, and management programme for executives which is done on request in many instances.
Thus, to get into IIM Amritsar as a part of the 2024 batch across all offered programs, candidates will have to write the exams such as CAT, GMAT or GRE based on the program of interest. CAT 2023: Exam date is likely to be held in November and the registration process is likely to begin in August. Candidates qualified in the written examination are invited to WAT GD PI rounds which are usually conducted between February and April of the year. The admission process of all courses is highly competitive because there is limited seat for students in the college. Candidates who have been shortlisted will be issued with a final offer before the beginning of the academic year in July, within May-June 2024. 1. Analyse the MBA admission notification and application form available on IIM Amritsar official website.
2. The user can also verify the eligibility standards such as class average, working experience etc.
3. The user should complete an online application and attach the necessary documents.
4. Make an application fee payment through an online method.
5. Lastly, you should complete the application form and submit it before the deadline.
6. Wait for shortlisting done on the basis of CAT/GMAT scores, academic performance, and work experience.
7. If selected for the final rounds, take Written Ability Test and a Personal Interview.
8. Final admissions list prepared from the aggregated score of all the rounds of IPM.
