The Indian Law Institute in New Delhi is one of the topmost and reputed law schools in India offering numerous programs in the field of law, management, science and technology. Minimum 50% marks in 12th standard examinations are required for admission to the 5-year integrated BA LLB program offerd by the university. They also have to sit for National level Law entrance tests like CLAT, LSAT India. The minimum marks that candidates should have in their LLB degree to be eligible for one-year LLM and PhD programmes is 55%.
Being a professional institute, it provides full time, part time and distance education programs in areas of Corporate Law, Tax Law, Law of Intellectual Property Rights, International Trade Law, Criminal Law and Administrative Law. The admission is given depending on the results of some examinations and/or interviews. Selection also takes into consideration education level, apt experience.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Any government-issued photo identity proof like Aadhaar Card, Voter Id, Driving License, or Passport with date of birth.
2. Pass certificate of the 10th standard and mark-sheet of passing from any recognized school showing your school education completion.
3. The photo ID carries a 12th standard or an equivalent examination mark sheet and passing certificate from a recognized board.
4. Certificates that show you possess Undergraduate education in law or related fields, copies of mark sheets that indicate your results in your bachelor’s degree.
5. Employment references if you have any past work experience in the specific legal or related fields.
6. Curriculum Vitae/Academic Records: Statement of purpose defining your interests and aptitude relevant for pursuing studies at the Institute whenever required.
1. Eligibility criteria – A minimum qualification is a basic law degree and also the candidates have to secure certain percentage marks as prescribed.
2. Complete online application - Complete the online application and attach all documents including recommendation letters before the application deadline. Pay application fees.
3. General aptitude test – Sit for the general aptitude tests set by ILI at given testing centers.
4. Interview round – Candidates are interviewed based on their performance in the written test and they are ranked and those with high ranking are selected for the company.
5. Final merit list - The candidate list is prepared in the basis of the marks obtained in the written test and interview.
6. Admission – Selected candidate do not confirm the admission by paying fees according to the readiness of the concerned authority. Submit documents.

1. Some of the eligibility criteria include such factors as having a Master’s degree in Law for at least 55% average.
2. Choose a specific research focus within your chosen subject and target a specific faculty member at ILI to be your advisor.
3. It is also important to note that the completed application should be submitted with the necessary documents before the end of the specified deadline.
4. If shortlisted, then appear for an entrance test that assesses their ability in research and about the subject.
5. Based on the measurement of the research proposal, the qualifying candidates are required to make a presentation in front of the committee.
6. After assessment of the students based on their entrance test, interview and research ability, merit list is compiled.
