International Institute for Population Sciences is one of the leading institute situated in Mumbai that offers various levels of higher degree in population sciences, health and development. The departments, it has physiological sciences, public health, biostatistics, and demography offering postgraduate degrees in their various fields. Students interested in epidemiology, biostatistics and reproductive health have to have a background degree such as MBBS, BDS, BA, BSc, with at least 50% marks, and they are required to have passed one of the entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, XAT or else the entrance exam conducted by the IIPS.

2. Mark sheets of the relevant bachelor’s degree in any stream in any university recognized by the university with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
3. Marksheet of board examination of class X and XII and passing certificate.
4. Mark sheet or any other proof of passing the prescribed examination of that year from the relevant board for the reserved category candidates.
5. Medical certificate for physical fitness and mental health from a certificated medical practitioner.
6. Two letters of recommendation from the referees on the academic capability as well as clean conduct of the candidate.
7. Test result transcript of having appeared in UGC NET, GATE, CAT, GMAT, GRE if any.

2. Fill in the application online or via a form submitted on or before the deadline accompanied by other necessary documents.
3. Sit for the entrance exam that applies quantitative, reasoning as well as language abilities.
4. Pass the exam, technically pass it, by getting the minimum passing score as mandated by the exam.
5. Sit for counselling session in case one gets selected based on internal exam results as well as interview.
