The following are the undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered at Jagannath University Bahadurgarh: They are management, engineering, law, science, education, etc., and the eligibility for each department differs. To be admitted to the BTech program one has to complete 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and achieved a minimum 50% average mark. For MBA, candidates who have passed their graduation in any discipline gaining minimum 50% marks can apply. The BSc programs are available for XII Science stream students with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and for students who have obtained 50% aggregate. MA Education course offered at Indira Gandhi National Open University needs candidate having any degree with 50% marks. Respectively, the University accepts national level entrance test scores like JEE Main, CAT, LSAT, GATE etc along with marks of qualifying examination for granting provisional admission.
The University provides several UG and PG level courses in faculties like Engineering and Technology, Management, Law, Education, etc Across faculties of engineering, management, law, education, basic sciences, physical sciences, bio sciences, social sciences, applied sciences etc The admission forms are issued from the First week of May every year. An eligibility test for B.A., B.Com., and B.Sc programs of first semester is conducted from February to July which include JEE Main, CAT, LSAT India, UPSEE, etc. Since the admission rounds are completed and the document verifications and the fees are paid in between June to August. Last but not the least, the session starts by the last week of August or the first week of September. The University announces the precise exam dates and the admission schedule for the next session 2024 on the website by the end of current year 2023.
There are two ways through which students can apply for admission into the various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by Jagannath University Bahadurgarh These include the online admissions and the offline admissions.
For online application, the link is provided on the university’s official website www.jagannathuniversity.org. In the admission section, choose the course of your preference and enter all the details that would be required in the application form. The mandatory documents such as photograph, signature etc. and educational certificates must be uploaded in soft copy formats and in standard sizes and dimensions for scanning. To meet the final requirements of the application fee, use either the net banking, debit card, or credit card options available at the end. Once completed, the form needs to be downloaded and a printed version taken for further use.
For the offline process, you can pick up the admission brochure and the application form from the university administrative office on payment of the specified amount. Complete the form and enclose certified photocopies of required documents such as identity proof and the official documents required for the current job position. Mail the signed application forms along with the drafts of application fees to the office. The said applications are to be submitted before the fixed last date printed in the admission notification. The university will publish the merit list of succesful candidates shortly after these exam- inations.

- Admissions are restricted and are usually given on merit in the qualifying examination that is the 12th standard boards normally.
- As for the students from the general category, the minimum requirement is 45% marks in 12th standards. However, the minimum prescribed aggregate marks are 40% for SC/ST students.
- The university takes into account the marks obtained by the candidate in relevant subjects such as Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, etc., while formulating a merit list.
- Depending on the course a candidate has applied for, the university may also consider their performance in CUET if any or other entrance tests.
- If the number of applicants is more than the number of seats available, then the merit list is prepared in terms of marks obtained by them in 12th standard boards and other exams conducted if any. The students are admitted on a merit basis and the seats are then occupied in a similarly merit-based fashion.
- Government norms for admitting SC/ST/OBC-SEP candidates for the reserved seat are followed.
- If the marks of several candidates are the same then depending on the case of the university, they may use factors like age, date of application, more marks in certain subjects etc. as the criteria to come up with the final merit list.
