The exams recognized are GATE, CSIR-NET and other tests as may be deemed appropriate for a particular department. For the PhD in the subject of Computer Science candidates should have Master’s Degree in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 60% marks in their MTech/ME. GATE qualification is compulsory.
