Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research is an independent Institution fully funded by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. JNCASR is situated in Bengaluru, acknowledged by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India and gave a constant high rank among the science affiliated institutions in India. 1. Minimum educational requirement for admission in PhD programs is master degree in science/engineering with marks obtained must be 60% or equivalent grade.
