Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University (JVWU) is a women’s university that offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the faculties of science, commerce, arts, education, law, and management. The requirements differ according to the program of study that one wishes to undertake. For B.Tech, candidates should have 50% of the aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics in their 12th exams. To apply for BA, candidate should have 50% marks in their 12th standard exams from any stream. For BCom, the student should secure at least 50% in 12th Standard Commerce, and for BBA, a 50% aggregate in 12th Standard is required. JEE Main, RPCAUET, NATA, CLAT, LSAT along with 12th board results are the standard tests accepted for admission.
Some of the programs provided by the University include; Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business and Administration, Bachelor of Computer applications, Bachelor of Education, Law, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology, Master of Science, Master of Commerce, Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts and so on. The admission process begins in the month of May every year through application forms that are available on University website. Depending on the course, May to July 2024 comprises state level and national level entrance exams for admissions in all programs of the University. It gives information on key dates for the exams within the admission period. For Admission to MTech & MSc, JVWU will hold entrance test in the first week of June. For B.Tech as an entrance exam, JEE Mains exam will be conducted in the last week of June. Management entrance Exam will be in first week July. When results come in, counselling rounds begin according to the timetable. The admission process normally takes in the month of July for the various admissions for that particular session of the school.

The application process for admission in the university is online and the student can apply in the university by visiting the official website of the university i.e www.jvwfu.edu.in. The class structure requires students to initially sign up through an account with some basic information. Once registration is done, they choose the relevant program, complete the application form, attach and submit documents and even pay the application fees using net banking, debit, and credit cards.
For offline admission, the application form can be downloaded from the university’s official website or, alternately, the application form can be picked up from the university campus. Original and photocopies of documents of the qualifying examinations and all other details requested in the application forms should be attached and the completed forms forwarded to the respective administrative block on the learning institution. The application fees should be in the form of demand draft.
