K.K. University Nalanda has a range of students’ choices in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in faculties of science, commerce, arts, law, education, journalism and mass communication, etc. The admission procedure and requirements changes from department to department - to get into the BTech programs in CSE, ECE, ME and the like, a student needs to have minimum 60 percent marks in 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Maths as examination and other entrance exams like JEE Main, KIITEE. For the BA/ MA programs in Economics, English Literature, Political Science, Sociology, the candidate should complete 12th in respective stream with minimum 50% marks and should give the entrance exams like CUET, KKUET etc. BCom and MCom programs admit CUET, IPMAT, KKU-CET examinations along with commerce stream students who have secured 60 % in their 12th standard. The Law programs (LLB, LLM) admit students based on CLAT, LSAT scores and the graduates from any discipline with 50% marks. Similar to B.Tech program, the eligibility criteria for Education and Journalism programs are also comparable and the accepted scores are CUET, UP BEd JEE, IPMAT. University runs full time campus programs such as B.Tech, M.Tech, MBBS, B.Sc., M.Sc., B.B.A, M.B.A., M.A., M.Com, L.L.B, L.L.M, B. Ed, M Ed.
K.K. University Nalanda offers admission to its various bachelor’s and master’s degree courses for the students through online mode as well as offline mode.
To apply online, visit the official website www.kkuniversity.ac.in and click on the Admissions tab at the top right corner of the site. Choose the course of your choice and fill the online application form accurately as per the guidelines mentioned above. You have to upload scanned copies of required documents such as photograph, signature, education certificates, etc. as prescribed. To make the application fees payment the students need to use net banking/debit card or credit card.

K.K University Nalanda consists of various Under graduate programs in science, commerce, arts and computer applications. The BSc programs that are provided are in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, etc. In order to be eligible, completion of 12th standard in the science stream with a minimum of 50% marks is required. Recognized boards include CBSE, ICSE or state boards for the qualifying examinations. BCom is offered in general commerce and honors streams The general commerce stream targets learners who have passed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) and has interest in commerce The honors commerce stream targets learners who have passed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) and want to specialize in commerce. Candidates should have passed the 12th commerce from a recognized board with minimum 45% marks in the examination. BA is available in faculties such as English literature, political science, history etc with the eligibility being 12th arts with 40% aggregate marks in recognized boards. BCA program does not require the candidate to have been offered Computer Science or IT as a subject in their 12th standard examination, it requires the candidate to have passed 12th standard in any stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% marks.
K.K. University Nalanda provides PhD degree programs in all the faculties such as Engineering, Science, Management, Pharmacy, and Arts and Humanities among others. The minimum requirement in terms of academic achievement for a PhD admission is 55% marks (Or its equivalent grade) in post graduation in the related field. For instance Management requires CAT or GMAT score while Pharmacy requires GPAT score besides post graduation degree as minimum requirement. The Science departments allow the candidates who have cleared the CSIR-UGC NET, GATE or its equivalent national level examination to show their score cards as eligibility.
The University provides full-time and part-time PhD Programmes in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering & Application, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Management, Pharmacy, English Literature, Economics, Psychology and many others.
