KL University, is a private university located in Green fields, Vaddeswaram, Andhra Pradesh, India. KL University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. To be admitted to undergraduate programs, candidates have to sit for 12th grade or relevant examination with at least 50% pass. However, some programs may come with extra course requirements like JEE score.
2. For postgraduate programs, candidates must have a relevant undergraduate degree and should have obtained an average of 50% or its equivalent.
3. For Ph.D. And integrated degree programmes, postgraduate degree in relevant field with 55% marks is mandatory in addition to Gate/Net qualification.
4. For the lateral entry in the 2nd year of UG programs, it is required to have diploma in particular branch of engineering with 60% marks.
5. For sponsored candidates, they have to have at least two years of work experience and meet the prescribed standards for the program.
6. Foreign students are also required to meet the academic qualifying standards of an Indian University besides passing the test for English proficiency like IELTS/TOEFL.
KL University Placements 2024
One of the premier institutes for engineering in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, KL University has also been particularly successful in providing its engineering students with campus placements. The highest record of placement was recorded in the year 2021 and 92% of the students have been placed in companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant while the highest salary package of INR 18.5 LPA was offered by the Microsoft.
