Vasavi College of Engineering also known by the name VCE is an engineering college located in Ibrahimpatnam, Hyderabad in the state of Telangana. VCE is established in 1981 and it is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Osmania University. It is NAAC ‘A’ grade accredited and it was ranked between 201-250 for the NIRF Engineering 2023. VCE delivers education undergraduate and postgraduate in different area of engineering such as computer science, electronics electrical, mechanical and civil engineering etc.
VCE provides B.Tech degree courses with Computer Science, Information Technology Electronics & Communication Streams, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical and Civil engineering as specializations. It begins in May every year through state and national entrance examination results and interviews. They admit students based on their inter marks and examination scores such as TS-ECET, APECET and JEE Main. A few of the key events like the dates of the exams, and any subsequent admission announcements are posted on the college website. The academic session which is the 2024 session will commence in August.

1. To get admitted into B.Tech programs candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with phy, chem, math as optional subjects with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate.
2. For M.Tech programs, candidates should have a B.E/B.
Tech degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exams.Degree in tech in the relevant branch of engineering or a degree in science with not less than 60% average marks. It is preferred that the candidates should have appeared and qualified for the GATE exam.
3. For admission to MBA, the candidates must be a graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in the total. Most employers demand that applicants produce their CAT/MAT/XAT scores.
4. For MCA program, candidates should have BCA / BCS / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics as one of the subjects with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate. Applicants should also have a valid score in the National Institute for Management and Communication Electronic Test (NIMCET).
5. For all programs, a candidate who is still awaiting examination result at their final year is encouraged to apply. But their admission will be considered until final examination results are released.
