Karnavati University is one of private universities of Gujarat state which is situated in Gandhinagar city. It was established in the year 2017 and approved by UGC and AICTE – University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education respectively. In the NAAC accreditation first cycle assessment the university has been placed in A Grade with CGPA of 3.11. In the latest NIRF Ranking 2023 released today, Karnavati University has ranked in 151-200 band.
This university provides courses at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate levels across Faculties like Engineering, Law, Medicine, Design, Liberal Arts, Management, and Information technology. International students appear for SAT while the regular students sit for national level examinations such as JEE Main for B.Tech, LSAT for Law, NATA for Design, and NEET for Medicine. In addition to merits, which are available for students to apply, there are also options to apply based on students’ previous scores. The admission process starts in March every year to enable the students to join the next academic session in August.

Karnavati University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Aspirants should have cleared 10+2 or any other equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum 50% cumulative marks.
2. As for certain programs, including engineering, special exams like JEE Main, GUJCET may be needed. Check program-specific eligibility.
3. The aspiring candidates from SC/ST category are given 5% marks relaxation in the qualifying examination. Candidates with disabilities have a chance to get 5% relaxation as per the state and federal policies.
4. Based on merit and availability of the seats in the particular subject, through lateral entry the admission can be taken by those candidates who have passed the diploma.
5. The final admission of candidates will be awarded depending on the scores in the qualifying examination, entrance tests if any, personal interview or any other rounds.

Karnavati University has a great track record of placements with more than 500 companies visiting the university for recruitment every year. The largest stipend provided to the students reaches up to INR 240000 per annum from companies such as Reliance, Adani, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant. The salary scale is on the lower side with an average pay-scale of INR 4-6 lakhs per annum. About 85 percent of the students who appear for the placements are placed through campus recruitment.
