Karnavati University in Gandhi Nagar Gujarat offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Management, Engineering, Computer applications, Commerce, Design and law. The requirement to be met by the candidate also differs according to their choice of programme; To do BBA, the candidate should have passed 12th or its equivalent; For B.Tech, the candidate should have passed 12th (Science) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The various entrance exams accepted include GUJCET and JEE Main for engineering, CAT/ GMAT for management, NATA/ CLAT for architectures/ Laws respectively among others depending on the chosen course.
The university has developed its programs in cooperation with the faculties, offering over 30 programs in 11 faculties that are focused on industry needs. They are Management, Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, Commerce, Pharmacy, Design, Arts, Law, and many more Students can join through entrances like national or state level entrance exam or through 12th mark percentage directly. This category includes registration, application, document screening, fee payments, and enrollment.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Address Proof: Voter ID card, Ration card, Passport, Driving License that prove your identity, age and address.
2. 10th standard mark sheet and passing certificate from any known board to and showing that the candidate has passed secondary school.
3. Original and self-attested copies of the latest mark sheet and passing certificate of the 12th standard or pre-university examination as proof of having completed higher secondary education.
4. Your degree transcripts and certificates when applying for postgraduate study.
5. Migration certificate from the last institute or university attended by the candidate Certificates with English translation if the originals are in any other language.
6. Caste certificate in case you wish to apply under the reserved categories. Documents like EWS certificate, in case of relevant.
1. Submit the filled application form through online/ offline mode along with the supporting documents and the application fee before the last date.
2. If you are applicable to GUJCET/GATE/Department entrance exams, then you must appear in these exams respectively. Marks considered for admission.
3. Visit the merit list section of the university’s website once it is posted to determine whether one is among the selected candidates for counseling rounds for under graduate/interviews for post graduate programs.
4. Attend counseling sessions/interviews, select a branch of your choice and register to secure your admission by paying fee structure as prescribed.
5. Please upload all the necessary documents for verification especially when you are admitted into the program.
6. All the formalities of enrollment like the allotment of the hostel rooms, getting the ID card, must be completed before the commencement of the classes.
1. It has to be noted that for appearing in this examination, the candidates must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and have minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
2. Registration online - Go to the university’s website and use the online application platform to apply for the B.Tech programs before the stated deadline. Read the details on how to make the application fees online.
3. Gujarat University Common Entrance Test - Take GUJCET which is conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. Must obtain score that represents percentile in the exam.
4. Counselling – If selected for GUJCET then attend the counseling session as per the dates and timings announced for the same. In relation to branch and quota allocations, one should select the branch and quota deserving of it first and then select the branch that is available.
5. Verification of documents – tender all the academic and personal documents required.
6. Payment of Admission fees if any, to confirm your admissions and to get register in KU Gandhinagar for your B. Tech course.

1. Verify some of the admission requirements that include 12th standard marks, portfolio and if any entrance exams are conducted their details.
2. To submit the application one has to complete the application form either online or off line before the last advertised date and enclose the documents that may be required.
3. In case necessary, take entrance exam for instance UCEED or other exams for admission to the course as applicable.
4. To check admission result wait for the shortlist to be released and then see whether you have been selected for counselling.
