Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE) is a privately-funded deemed university situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. KAHE was started in the year 2008 and is one of the well-known colleges in the South India accredited with NAAC ‘A’ grade. KAHE provides education at the bachelor, master and doctoral level with concentrations in different fields. KAHE was ranked 101-150 in NIRF rankings 2023 in the university rankings just recently announced by the government. 

KAHE has several faculties and departments, which offer programmes in various disciplines such as engineering and technology, management and commerce, arts and science, education, pharmacy and etcetera. Some of these include major exams which take place in November and April, at the close of semesters. Admission for the UG and PG programs for 2024 batch is expected to begin during May-June 2023. There are two ways that a student can apply: online or offline application by completing the application form and going through counseling. The ability to gain admission is determined by merit attained through qualification exam marks. B.Tech admissions at KAHE also take into account national level examinations such as the JEE Main. The details of the important dates, eligibility criteria and the procedure for applying for the Green Card Lottery will be provided on the official website of DV-2023 in the first half of the year 2023.

Karpagam Academy of Higher Education Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. For Bachelor of arts, Bachelor of science, Bachelor of commerce, candidates should have completed their 12th standard with the relevant stream from any recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

2. For the BTech programs, the candidate should have the minimum 50% marks in 12th standard with Physics, chemistry, mathematics subjects. Should have a valid score in TANCET and other equivalent entrance test.  

3. MBA and PG program graduates can apply from any recognized university but they should have passed in relevant discipline. They should have minimum 50% total marks at graduation level. Entrance exams scores also required The entrance criteria were also the scores achieved in entrance exams.

4. For integrated ME/MTech programs, only students who have passed 12th standard in science stream and have secured an aggregate of 60% marks are eligible to apply. Entrance test score: Most of the programs require an entrance test score while some do not. 

5. With reference to the diploma programs, the 10th pass candidates can apply for the program. High school diploma requirement of at least 35% in the final exams for admitting students.  

6. Eligibility for admission to doctoral research and PhD programs is post graduates in related disciplines with 55% aggregate marks. In addition, they should qualify in the entrance exam conducted by the university they are applying to.
