Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) have CLAT CMAT and other university level entrance exams for admission process. The Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and Mass Communication) accepts qualifying examinations such as CUCET and university level test. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) both have national exams like CLAT, CMAT and university entrance test as its admission eligibility. The Masters programs in Journalism and Mass Communication, Business Administration, Commerce and Arts streams require national level exams such as UGC NET, CUET, CLAT and university entrance exams for eligibility.
Undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses are conducted in the university which are available in several fields such as Journalism and Mass Communication, Business Administration, Commerce, Arts, Science and many others. The admission process occurs yearly in January for the Bachelor’s degree programs. Some of the well-known undergraduate programs are BJMC, BBA, BCom while the postgraduate courses are MJMC, MBA, MCom. The next session for 2024 will be open for registration latest by the month of January in the year 2023. Entrance tests are conducted in February to July 2023 and the counselling process takes place after that. The admission process involves registration, taking the qualifying examination, counselling and the final admission. For MJMC, the CUET exam dates for the session 2023-24 are not released while for other Master’s courses such as MBA, MCom, the dates will be released alongside the application forms which will be released soon expected by December, 2022. The process has to be done following the dates which have been set by the university for admissions to take place.

For the online application, the candidates are required to log on to the website www.ktujmcraipur.ac.in and navigate the Admission link. They also have to self-register and provide necessary details, upload documents, pay the application fee and submit the form. In case of offline applications, the application forms are available for download from the website, which need to be completed in all respects and accompanied by the enclosures and submitted to the university admission office along with the application fee by the prescribed dates. The form is also found at the admission office. Some programmes at the university require the candidates to write an entrance test and then attend a counselling session for admission. The courses offered at the varsity include BA, MA, and PG Diploma in journalism and mass communication subjects. - Students must have passed 12th standard in science stream and should have obtained the marks that are set by the university for their admission.

2. Locate the “Admissions” or “Apply Online” tab and click on it.
3. Choose the course you wish to apply for (B.Sc.).
4. Next, the applicant needs to register him/her by filling basic information about him/her like name, date of birth, email id, mobile no., etc.
5. An application number/registration number shall be created. Note it down.
6. Enter the password and user ID sent on your registered email id and mobile number.
7. Complete the online registration form with the right information concerning the qualifying examination, marks scored and other self-details.
8. Scan and upload necessary documents such as photograph, signature, educational certificates, caste certificate (if required) in prescribed format.
9. Make the application fees payments through online mode using credit/debit card/net banking etc.
10. After completing the application form, it is advisable to print a copy and keep it for further use.
11. You only need to use the registration details to monitor the status of your application. In case you are selected, you will download the admission letter from the portal.
12. Visit the university on the given date of admission and bring along all the documents that will be needed for verification and confirmation of admission.
