LNIPE in Gwalior offers different courses in the stream of physical education and sports, sports sciences, sports nutrition, sports psychology, sports engineering, and sports management. This is true because the eligibility criteria differ from one department to the other. A candidate applying for BPEd course should have passed the bachelor’s degree examination with not less than 50% marks. For MPEd: BPEd degree is required, for BPES: The candidate should have passed 12th and for MPES: A bachelor degree is required. Some of the common & various entrance exams accepted in various departments include LNIPEET, UPSEE, BHU-PET, JNUEE, DUET, AMU etc.
Such programs include: the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Master of Physical Education (MPEd), the Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (BPES), Master of Physical Education and Sports (MPES), Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Studies, the Bachelor in Sports Physiotherapy, the Bachelor in Sports Science, the Master in Sports Biomechanics, the Master in Sports Nutrition, the Bachelor in Sports Coaching among others. For admission in 2024 batch, candidates should apply as per the admission notification, which will be published in 2023. The entrance examinations are held during the period of May-July every year. Successful candidates undergo the entrance test then they are summoned to sit for counseling session to be conducted to complete admission processes. The selection is based on written test, sports ability test, physical fitness test, and interview taken by LNIPE Gwalior.
Various courses associated with physical education and sports can be availed from the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) in Gwalior. These courses can be pursued either online or offline but the students have to apply for admission to these courses.
For online application, the students have to log into the official website of LNIPE which is lnipe.gov.in. For this, they have to go to the admissions page, select the right course and then complete the online application form. They also have to upload the scanned copies of the required documents and also pay the application fee for the course online.
For the offline application mode, students can get the application form and the prospectus from the LNIPE academic section by depositing the fee.
