Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University commonly known as MKBU is situated in Bhavnagar city of Gujarat state in India. Founded in 1978, it has begun admitting students to its undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the faculties of arts, commerce, science, education, law, rural studies, and finally medicine. The college has been accredited grade B by NAAC and according to NIRF 2023 ranking the MKBU has been ranked between 101-150.
They have a broad Spectrum offering programs in various fields of study. Some of the general courses offered are the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, Master of Science, Master of Commerce, the Bachelor of Laws, the Bachelor of Education, the Master of Education, the Bachelor of Engineering, the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. The admission process may start in the May of each year for the next academic session that starts in June of the same year. These include BE, MBBS, and MSc for which entrance exams are set for successful enrollment. There are two major exams in the year, the end of first semester in October and the end of second semester in March. The 2024 admission notification will be released in April 2023 either on the official website of the university or on the website of the faculty of the university where one is applying for admission.

Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Admission criteria include that candidates must be having 10+2 or equivalent education qualification from any recognized board and the minimum percentage depending on the course. normally 50-60 % for arts/commerce and 60-70 % for science group.
2. To apply for the master’s programs, one has to have a relevant first degree from a recognized university and the minimum pass percentage differs by course, it generally ranges from 50-60%.
3. There could be additional program specific requirement such as entrance test, years of experience etc., which the candidate need to fulfill.
4. As per GN Dec’20 & GN for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates, reservation & relaxed eligibility criteria will be followed. Disability/sports quota may also be worthy.
5. Undergraduate applicants who are in their final year must apply but will be required to present their results before they are admitted.
