MPUAT Udaipur is a state university which provides different undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different stream of agricultural sciences. While the specific requirements may differ depending on the department and course being taken. Agri Business and Rural Management provides BSc in Agri Business and MBA in Agribusiness which can be pursued after 50% score in 12th (passing in any stream) and any graduate can apply for it. For the BTech programmes like Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology, the minimum requirement is 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the 12th level. MPUAT offers admission to national level examinations such as JEE Mains, RPET, CAT, MAT and REAP examination conducted at state level.
The University provides education in the fields of Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral in faculties of Agriculture, Home Science, Basic Science, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture and Forestry. These include BSc Agriculture, MSc Horticulture, MSc Biotechnology, BTech Food Technology, BFSc Fisheries Science, BSc Home Science and many others. This is done through application release which begins in May every year. Some specific entrance examinations are held till June-July such as REAP, RFST etc. The counselling and admission rounds occur in August-September on the grounds of merit as well as the entrance test conducted for the academic session starting in October. The tentative dates for issuing REAP 2024 is expected to be on second week of June. While RFST dates are the last week of June, 2024. Likely, the application, counselling, and admission processes for the 2024-25 academic year may begin on these dates as well.
The MPUAT Udaipur offered admissions to the various under graduate and post graduate courses in agriculture, horticulture, forestry and other related fields. Students can apply for the admission either through online mode by visiting the official website of the university i.e mpuat.ac.in or through offline mode.
To apply online, go to the MPUAT website and navigate to the ‘Admissions’ page. Choose the program of interest, complete the application form and attach scanned copies of relevant documents if required. Submit the application fee through online mode. Retain a copy of the form completed and take a print out of it for future use.
For offline application the candidate is required to obtain the application form in person from the University cash counter for the prescribed fees. Complete the form and submit the form along with self-attested copies of the documents. The filled application form should be forwarded to the Registrar’s office before the deadline. Admissions are merit based which indicates that the candidate’s performance on the qualifying examination and or entrance tests determines his/her admission. University declares cut-off marks for various programmes and those who have secured equal or more than the cut-off marks are given counselling and document verification.
