Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), a privately owned university in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. MUIT was set in the year 2001, and is included in the list of top 100 engineering colleges of India and NAAC ‘A’ accredited. According to NIRF ranking 2023, the MUIT has ranked at 68th place among all Engineering colleges in India.

Maharishi University of Information Technology Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. Minimum qualification needed for Bachelors degree is 10+2 or equivalent examination and no upper age limit with minimum of 60% marks for general caste. 

2. For admission in the Master’s programs, one must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with minimum of 55% marks and a valid score in an entrance test like JEE mains/CAT. 

3. For PhD, a master degree in the relevant subject with minimum 60% marks and pass in national/state level eligibility tests/NET/SLET.  

4. Post graduation diplomas are after 10+2 exam, the admissions are merit based, though some courses may need an additional test.

5. Since certificate courses are not major programs, anyone may enroll in them depending on the interest and ability without any laid down minimum requirements. 

6. For all programs, English proof is required for non-English medium students enrollments. Other relate to academic performance, admission tests, interviews.
