Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) Lucknow provides B.Tech, B.C.A, B.H.M, B.Sc, B.A, B.Com and other under graduate and post graduate courses in fields of engineering, computer applications, hotel management, design, law, journalism, sciences, arts, commerce the criterion for admission may differ from course to course. For BTech, the qualification required is passing 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and a minimum 50% marks. Such courses as JEE Mains, UPSEE are accepted as entrance examinations. For BCA, 12th pass in any stream having Maths/Computer Science as a subject is necessary. Candidates should be 12 pass for hotel management and for BA LLB one needs to be 12 pass with 50 % marks.
It has different courses and programs like, B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, BBA, BCA, BA, B.com, B.Des, LLB, BJMC. Important admissions examination are like JEE Mains in April, UPSEE in June, NCHM JEE in June. MUIT also gives admission on the basis of 12th scores. The process includes online admission, application submission, entrance test and/or interview and selection process besides counseling and final admission.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Photo ID and address proof like, Aadhar card, Voter ID card, driving license, for the purpose of identification of the candidate and his/her age.
2. Passing certificate and mark sheet of class 10th to understand past academic performance of students of different schools.
3. Original Class 12th passport size photograph, Mark sheet of Intermediate and passing certificate to check their eligibility and marks obtained in various subjects studied.
4. Mark sheets or certificates issued by the last education board attended to follow up his/her stream and promotion record.
5. police character certificate from the last academic institution attended to assess conduct and behaviour of the applicant.
6. Recent passport size photographs that are required to be pasted in the admission form and those that are required to be given to the college once the candidate gets enrolled into the college.
1. The MUIT offers certain conditions in terms of age, qualification, and entrance examination for the admission in the desired course.
2. This should be submitted either online or offline on or before the deadline as stated in the admission notification. Attach necessary documents.
3. Take entrance test if required such as UPSEE for engineering admission in any government private University of Uttar Pradesh. Passing marks depend on the course or program being pursued by the student.
4. Candidates should crosscheck merit list when announced to know their selection status and attend the counselling session when called upon.
5. Choose block seat with the payment of the admission fee during counselling. Check all the documents needed and obtain an interim admission letter.
6. Report to the specific department, and process for enrollment and submit any outstanding documents to get the admission.
7. Get to know the general procedures on how to attend induction program and register for courses before the commencement of classes.
1. There are some prerequisites for the students like passing 10+2 examination with science stream with the minimum percentage of marks which are determined for different categories.
2. Take the university entrance exam if it is available. Merit lists will be prepared with marks secured in the examination and marks secured in 10+2.
3. In this case, individuals should attend counseling sessions based on the dates that are provided and the rank that has been assigned to them. Choose courses and college according to the availability of them in the respective college.
4. Final processes of admission by providing the necessary documents, paying necessary charges and getting yourself registered before the due date.
5. Acquire eligibility certificate from university in case of migration from other university/board within prescribed time.
6. Attend college orientation programs. Start attending classes for the semester as the subjects and the exam timetables will have been announced.
1. MUIT Lucknow offers the B.Tech courses and the students can apply both online and offline before the admission date and fill the application form and the fee also.
2. If so qualified, a call letter for the university entrance examination that will be conducted center will be issued to you. Based on the score, the merit list shall be made.
3. As per the schedule of counseling for admission into B.Tech specialization and campus of your choice based on merit, availability and your preference.
4. If a candidate has been granted a seat in a particular course, then,he or she should provide all necessary documents and complete the admission process as well as deposit the admission fee before the stipulated date.
5. Make sure to get your documents verified, register yourself for your subjects and other relevant processes as commencement of the session.
6. Report to the assigned MUIT Lucknow Campus for the B.Tech programme with your parents/guardians to attend the orientation programme.
1. Due to office time constraints, it is recommended to apply online through completing the application form and paying the application fee before the deadline.
2. Sit for the university’s entrance exam if any and if supposed to do so according to the timetable set for the process. Score qualifying marks.
3. Visit the merit list tab when available to determine if qualified for further admission process following the examination results and qualifications.
4. Ensure that the patient attends counselling session at the scheduled time. Select the stream and go through admission procedure.
5. Ensure that you produce all documents necessary for admission and make payments for admission or the course fee as appropriate.
6. If documents are verified they should obtain enrollment number and complete all the formalities of enrollment. Attend classes depending on the set date and time.
