Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer also known as MDSU Ajmer is one of the prominent State University which is located in Ajmer, Rajasthan. It has several programs for the undergraduate and postgraduate level across arts, science, commerce, law, education and management disciplines. As for the eligibility criteria, there are differences from department to department. For the BA, BCom, and BSc programs, the candidates must have passed their classes 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with at least the minimum percentage marks for admission. The MA, MSc, and MCom programs must have completed a relevant bachelor’s degree program. For BEd, certain graduation degree is mandatory while for MEd, BEd is mandatory. There are many courses in UG and PG level such as LLB, MCA, MBA, BBA where admission is taken on the basis of 12th marks or graduation and there are also common entrance exams like CMAT/CAT/MAT. Some of the PG diplomas also have appearance of candidates based on passing qualifying examination and interview.

Documents Required for Admission in MDSU Ajmer for Different Courses:
MDSU Ajmer disseminates several undergraduate programs to all its affiliated colleges. UG Departments are Bachelors of Arts (BA) offering various subjects like English, Hindi, History, Economics and Sociology etc The minimum qualification for admission to the BA course is to pass 12th examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized board of education. CBSE, RBSE or NIOS exams are accepted to qualify these exams. Bachelors of Science (BSc) is available for subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, etc Students need to secure minimum 50 % marks in 12th PCM to get admission in BSc. Commerce department offers Bachelors of Commerce (BCom) with majors in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, etc The minimum requirement to join BCom at MDSU would require one to have a background in commerce in their 12th standard with at least 60% pass mark. In addition, there are other UG level courses like Bachelors of Business Administration, better known as BBA and BA LLB law, where students are admitted after 12th with 50-60% marks.
MDS University of Ajmer, Rajasthan provides MBA under several departments as follows. There is a two-year full-time MBA program in the Faculty of Management Studies with major specializations in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, and International Business. The required qualification includes possession of a bachelor’s degree in any subject combination with not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) from a recognized University. The qualifying examination accepted for admission is CAT/MAT/CMAT or the University level Management Entrance Test.
The Department of Commerce also provides MBA in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Insurance, E Commerce & International Trade. But to be eligible for the program one must have BCom degree and must secure atlest 50% marks. MDS university test, CAT/XAT/CMAT qualifying examination. The Institute of Computer Science offers MBA, Information Technology, MCA and MSc programmes. The qualification for candidates is a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Chartered Accountancy/ICWA with 50% marks and passing in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT.
