Mangalayatan University is a private University that is based in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh in India. It was established in the year 2006 and is UGC recognised and approved by the AICTE. The NAAC has recently accredited the university with B++ grade (2.9 CGPA). According to NIRF ranking 2023 Mangalayatan University has placed in the ranking of 151-200 universities of India.
The university admits more than 115 courses in areas such as engineering, management, science, pharmacy, agriculture, education, law, journalism and hotel management at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Some of the well-known courses are, B.Tech., MBA, B.Sc., B.A.LL.B., B.Pharm, and B.H.M.C.T. Semester exams are in general administered in November-December, and April-May each year. Mangalayatan University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For undergraduate programs the students must complete their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized / accredited board with minimum marks as per the course. In this context, it is necessary to know that different programs have specific cut-offs.
2. For postgraduate programs, a relevant first degree from a recognized university with a minimum percentage marks is required though this depends on the course of study of the respective university.
3. Sometimes, students also may have to take other qualifying tests, interviews, working experience, etc., that may be required to get into specific programs.
4. The government norms regarding the percentage of marks and other conditions required for admission to the college may be relaxed for reserved category students. The details of each program in terms of eligibility requirements are contained in the University prospectus.
5. International students are required to have academic records equivalent to those recognized by the certifying authorities, and scores in TOEFL/IELTS in English Language Proficiency Test.
