Mizoram University is situated at Aizawl which is the capital of this small state of Mizoram. It has provided a number of bachelors, masters and doctoral programs in arts, science, law and many other fields Some of the main departments it has are Botany, Chemist, Computer Science, Economics, English, Geology, History, Maths, Physics, Zoology, Social work, Library & information science, Management & law.
Minimum requirement criteria for admission to Bachelor’s degree course differ with discipline and field of study but the students are expected to have passed 12 th standard in the relevant stream with minimum percentage of 40%-60%. Acceptable entrance tests for admission include Mizoram University Entrance Test (MZUET) besides national tests of JEE Main, CLAT, NCHM JEE. and marks cards of 12th standard. Most Master’s programs have a requirement of having a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with minimum percentage marks, which tends to differ between 45–55% depending on the department. There are courses like M.Tech or M.Des for which students need to take entrance exams like GATE, CEED, CUET PG as the case may be.

2. Interested candidates should click on the link of the course admission notification they wish to apply for and then go through the conditions mentioned in the advertisement to make sure whether they fit the bill.
3. For online application, one has to fill a form, enter basic personal details, and other relevant information and upload documents and photo.
4. They are required to download the application form from the website of the organization, and fill it up after attaching the necessary documents.
5. Demand draft and attach it to the completed application form, which has to be submitted at the university administrative block.
6. Visit website to see merit list and additional details regarding the rest of the admission process.
7. If selected, then student has to compulsorily fill up other admission related formalities which include submission of documents and fees.
Documents Required for Admission in MZU Aizawl for Different Courses:
1. Online mode on the university website with documents – Here, one has to sign up at the portal and then scan the required documents such as marksheets, photos, signatures etc.
2. Take entrance test if relevant for particular program - Write an examination, sit for an interview in case there are rules and regulation to that effect as set by the university.
3. Click on the merit list section when it is posted online - Merit list provides the candidates who were selected in accordance to the required standards.
4. Pay fees online/offline to confirm seat – after paying fees one gets an enrollment number.
5. Transfer hard copies of documents - Original documents to be produced at the respective college after getting admission.
6. Join college at the beginning of academic session - Begin attending college, register and other procedures in college.
1. Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria like having a B.Sc degree in a course with the minimal pass percentage in the relevant subject.
2. Get the application form for M.Sc program either online or through off line before the last date for applying for the same is over.
3. As part of the documentation, the applicant should then affix certificates, mark sheets, photographs similar to that used in passport to the filled up application.
4. In case of being shortlisted, the candidate appears for the entrance examination at the given date to secure the minimum passing cut off.
5. Proceed to meeting with counsellor for a session on provisional admission offer allocation.
6. Pay fees and submit original documents within the time frame stipulated in admissions process to complete formalities.
7. Return to the assigned section to verify M.Sc admission into MZU Aizawl.
1. Most institutions have specific requirement when it comes to eligibility, this has to do with the percentage required in post graduate classes as well as entrance test. Fill an application form and enclose relevant documents.
2. Apply and sit for the entrance examination administered by Mizoram University at designated centers. Check result announcement.
3. Recruited staffs and employees are summoned for interview by respective departments. The basis of the assessment is the results of the written test as well as the interview.

1. Look into notification and apply online through the university website or visit the university campus for the prospectus.
2. Sit for state or national level engineering entrance exams such as JEE Mains, MZUEEE and such other exams relevant to your eligibility.
3. If qualified, attend university counselling session according to the rank of the candidate for the selection of branch and admission fees should be paid.
4. Provide documents for 10th and 12th mark sheets, entrance exam scorecard, and category certificates if any.
5. Obtain an interims admission from your choose university and finalize your admission by paying full amount of fee.
6. To register, submit documents to the assigned department and attend the orientation to begin the course.
