Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is a deemed university at Mumbai in Maharashtra state of India. It was established in 1981 and is NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) accredited; the college has received Grade A++. As per the NIRF ranking system of 2023 the NMIMS was ranked 37th among universities in India. This institute is affiliated to the University Grants Commission and is approved by AICTE. It provides programs in different fields of study such as business and management, engineering, pharmacy, architecture, commerce, economics and law.
MIM is also a part of NMIMS which offers BBA, BTech, BSc Finance and other undergraduate and postgraduate programs in management including MBA, PGDM and various other masters degree programs. The admission exercise usually takes place early January of each year. For MBA 2024, Scores in CAT/NMAT/CMAT/GMAT are required along with the GD/PI rounds test. The applying date for MBA 2024 last date is 31 March, 2023. Chronicling Naturalisation Applicants’ Test: IS July/August 2023. Through an assessment of the case studies and essay writing, the applicants are then taken through interviews. BBA, economics, engineering-pharmacy, architecture and exam for entrance into other programs are conducted throughout the year from February to June 2023.
It is also noteworthy that NMIMS boasts of a great placement record among all its campuses. Some of the most popular companies that hire professionals from this stream are: ICICI, Deloitte, EY, PwC, JP Morgan, HSBC, UBS, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and Tata Group among others. The highest salary package that was offered was 42 lakh per annum and the average salary package offered was 14 lakh per annum for the batch of 2021-22. More than 200 organizations are involved in the placement process and with regard to the placement record of students in last year, more than 90% of the students were placed within three months of the completion of the course.
