The Narsee Monjee ITM Bangalore provides a number of management courses in disciplines such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT and HR and Analytics. The key divisions include the School of Business Management, School of Commerce, School of Economics, School of Law and School of Mathematical Sciences. It offers several programs and among the most common include MBA, BBA, BCom, BSc Economics among others. For most programs, one has to meet certain requirements based on the program of their choice - For MBA, graduate in any field with minimum of fifty percent may apply and have to appear for CAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT tests. In order to stand a chance of being admitted to BBA and BCom, one must have passed 12th with at least 50%. For BSc Economics, the minimum qualification mentioned is 12th Science stream with Maths and 50% marks have been made compulsory. NMIMS also considers NPAT, which is the exam conducted by NMIMS for admission in their university.
The admissions for the 2024 batch as far as the NMIMS Bangalore courses are concerned will begin around September 2023. The important exams dates that are to be followed are CAT 2023 on November 26th, MAT February 2024 on February 4th and NMAT by GMAC from October 2022 to February 2023. ATMA, CMAT & XAT is conducted between November 2023 to January 2024. Upon passing any of the above mentioned examinations, the students can apply to NMIMS when the admissions are called in through website. Sub-process of MBA admissions after the shortlisting process is the Case Discussion, Personal Interview and WAT/Essay Writing test. The merit list of the candidates is prepared from the previous academic performances, entrance examination and finally the Portfolio Interview and Written Analysis Test. Intake for fresh students is offered in the periods of April – May 2024 for the academic year. 1. Admission Test: As part of the admission process, candidates will have to write the NMIMS-NPAT test. This one is a multiple choice type of exam that aims at assessing general intelligence and the logical ability of the students. Scores in this test are part of selection process since they point to who among the candidates is best fitted to work for the organization.
2. Class 12th Scores: Performance in the last qualifying examination is taken into consideration (class XII board examinations). Applicants should have passed with an average of 60% for all their examinations.
