Nitte University is a Private University established in Karnataka located in India. It was started in 2008 and has been accredited by the UGC and is recognised by the AICTE. NAAC has been accredited Nitte University with grade ‘A’ with a CGPA of 3.31 out of 4. In the new NIRF Rankings 2023, Nitte University has achieved 76th position under the University category.
The university provides certificate, undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes in various fields such as engineering management, architecture, allied health sciences, and others. Some of the popular courses offered in the institute are B.Tech civil, Computer science, mechanical, BBA MBA, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, etc. The admission usually begins in march each year for the session that begins in June or July for the particular annum. 1. The requirement for admission to undergraduate programs is the successful completion of 10+2 or equivalent examination with an average of 50%.
2. For postgraduate programs, the candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with not less than fifty percent marks in aggregate from any recognized University.
3. Candidates who seek admission in Ph.D and PDF programs should have passed relevant postgraduate degree with minimum 55% overall marks. Also, pass in the university entrance examination as well as in other tests that qualify the student for university education.
4. In case of diploma and certification programs, the candidates passed 10+2 can apply for the respective programs. The work experience is also preferred for some of the programs offered for training.
5. International / NRI candidates should have equivalent qualification with those prescribed by the university.
