The Oriental University Indore is one of the largest universities in Madhya Pradesh that offers several undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree courses in various fields of engineering, management sciences, arts, law, hotel management & tourism, pharmaceutical sciences, education, commerce, computer application, journalism & mass communication, paramedical sciences etc. The requirement for the eligibility of the candidate also differs depending on the department involved. The engineering programs make candidates to pass 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. For BBA/MBA, it is 10+2 with 50% marks are required to get the admission in this university. Science degrees require 50% of average in the relevant subjects in class 12th. For BA/MA degrees, minimum 50%/ in class 12th is needed, as well as meeting other requirements for admission to the university. Entrance into law programs call for minimum of 45% pass in graduation among other requirements. For the hotel management and the pharmacy programmes, minimum eligibility criteria is 10+2 or examination equivalent thereto with minimum 50% marks.
The courses or the stream options provided by Skyline College encompass engineering (computer science, electronics, civil, mechanical, chemical), business management (BBA/MBA), sciences (chemistry, physics, mathematics, botany, zoology), arts (history, psychology, economics, English, political science), hospitality and tourism management, pharmacy (BPharm and MPharm), education (BEd, MEd), paramedical sciences and Law. Exams dates for 2024 as follows: For MPCET & GUJCET : The dates fall in March-April For MH CET: The examination is due in May For CAT: The examination is held in the last week of November For MAT: The examination is due in February and May For XAT: The examination is in January in the 1st week For ATMA: The examination is due in January to May. It also concerns online registration and eligibility assessment, entrance exams and final criteria based on scores.

Documents Required for Admission in OU Indore for Different Courses:
1. JEE Main Score: Only the marks of candidates in their JEE Main examination are taken into account. Higher scores are preferred.
2. Class 12th Marks: Performance in the 10+2 or its equivalent examination is taken into account where the candidates excel in that examination. Minimum aggregate marks required are different with respect to categories.
3. Previous Academic Record: Previous academic records of 10th board exams and other previous exams may also be considered while assessing performance.
4. Entrance Exam Conducted by University: Some universities have their own examination called the entrance exam. They suggested that performance in this exam may count as a possible criterion for admission.
5. Personal Interview Round: They might also be invited for an interview for purposes of evaluating their personality, interests and abilities. Appearance in interview yields to final score.
6. Reservation Norms: They have separate categories of the seats for the candidates coming under the government rules like SC, ST, OBC EWS, etc.
7. State Domicile Requirement: Some percentage of seats may be kept for specific aspiration of the candidates who meet the state domicile requirements.

4. Allocation of Seats - If you were one of the selected candidates for the seat allocation then you must meet the following requirements. The existing rule in the university is that most of the seats are usually filled based on merit.
5. Admission Confirmation- This is in respect of a seat that has been ‘allotted’ to you; the university will notify you of this. After that, it is necessary to go to this campus to confirm the admission on the same day. Complete any outstanding documents and pay admission/semester fees as an acknowledgement of your acceptance.

3. Interviewing the students - This involves evaluating the students on their interests, verbal communication, mental ability and attitude. Since interview forms part of the assessment process, it was given weightage based on the performance.
4. Application form data – Some information about the candidate’s academic record, co-curricular activities, achievements, etc., filled in the application form by the candidates. May get some weightage.
